Spent many great years at gcs.I think Mr raj kumar has gone back to india. The only teacher that I feared more than Mr raj kumar was Mr Diagracha if you knew the teacher then you know that i am right. Now mr gautum is the principle other than that don't know much.I am one of the first students that started the mass exodus from the school in 1998 i think.then after that many students followed after that when visiting the school 1999-2000 it didn't have the same atmosphere shame really.we used to play on the play ground near the car park but now it is a basketball ground. and they demolished the basketball field up there and built a building. Some of my friends were mikias engida, samson, basleal, aron.abiy, elshadai, binyam, pantelis, nathnael and many more. don't know if you are mikias engida or not but if you are how is it going my long lost friend ?There was a website once but couldn't find it that had our pitures when were little what happened?

what a blessed place...This where i grew up...Eyesus Gedam was the place I always loved going to share good and bad times...I still think of it, sometimes I pray assuming myself in the church yard, I missed Aba kenye and all the diakones...and mezemiran that we used to study together, I hope one day i'll come back to this place and serve the church in any way I can...I am so gifted to have grown up here cos it laid the corner stone of my destiny and route of life...I have got a lot to say,But I'll save it for the right day to stand out in the crowd and witness the love and work of God.Egzabihere lezelalem yetemesegene yihun,Amen...God,bless my family,my naighbers and my country!

  • Ethiopia Ermija Elementary School, Moke (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
I was educated in Ethiopia Ermija from grade 1 to 7. I started when the school was named after Ras Mesfin Sileshi and I vividly remember when Ato Girma (sharing with other Teacher) used to own it. I lived a couple of houses away from Ato Girma and remember his children (we studied in the same grade with one of them) One thing I can tell you about the school is, the school wasn’t materially rich – However produced wonderful people, talented students and most of all we were good friends had a lot of fun. I still meet fellow students from Ethiopia Ermija here in London and we talk about our childhood (we all have good memory about the school). Proud to be part of this great school.
