  • Ethiopian Drug Administration and Control Authority (DACA) - www.daca.gov.et, HMT (guest) wrote 13 years ago:
DACA needs to work hard to change the current senario for the good of our country. Personal or group interests should be controlled by law and the involvment of professionally oriented people are key to the development of the bureaue than politically oriented. Employees need to have ethical trainings and they should respect their client............. We have to see from our country's benefit. You guys it is your families who are also affected with your poor managment! Bring your ageold bad story to end!

I think this organization needs a visit from the Anti corruption office. All its activities or procedures and payment collection mechanisms (especially that paid for inspectors going out of the country) is open for corruption. you don't either give a receipt for payments made to your staff(travel, accommodation and perdiem.Neither you accept prepayments for such payments at your head office before your staff departs to visit any plant abroad. Even though you claim that you have a procedure (pre- screening...) for dossier evaluation it is purely subjective depending on the individual who is reviewing it.Deficiencies noted by one may not be so for another evaluator. Your experts (most of them )are new from the school and are purely following the theoretical concepts they were told in their school and they don't understand the practical limitations of such theories in during implementation. It is a apparently a repeated phenomenon that you office depends on the presence or absence of some individuals.if one individual is not there the customer has to wait until he returns in order to get his job done.you need to establish a system that is not dependent on inividuals. I don't understand why the whole team in a department of such an important national organization goes for a training while there are hundreds requiring its services. Puuuuh. I can stop listing it.

The memory of the days spent At the General Wingate School is still haunting my mind. Although I do wish that those days, full of pleasure, may come back, yet I know that it is a thing of the past. Time always flies on its wings. I cannot enjoy those days again. I am eager to meet old friends of my time i.e Ambelu Asfaw, Girma Abera, Sisay Hailu, Tibebu Atomsa, Abiy Getahun, Allehone Ayalew and others who joined the Addis Ababa University in 1978.
