Well, it is heart wrenching to see this place has been taken over by Alamoudi, a single business man. A lot of people, including me, grew up playing soccer in this field. When Kebede run the place (why the place has aquired the name kebede meda), it was one majical place. There were lots of programs young people in his time could enrol into to improve their skills and sportsmanship. Now, looking at the place, tens of thousands of miles away, I don't even recognize what has been built on it. Whatever it is that they have built on it, it is not going to replace the warm, friendly etege mesk, which raised a lot of talented young people, especially soccer players in its wonderful times.

How nice to see my school of early ages on a computer screen tens of thousands of miles away from it. Where would my old schoolmates and teachers would be today? ene teacher Kasu, Tariku, Gulma and the rest. How about the staff like Aba Alemu and Haylye. Oh boy, lots of childhood memories indeed.
